6 Hour Bezel Set Pendant Workshop
Add some color to your neck mess! Black stones are also available.
In this class, we start by choosing a flat backed cabochon stone from the expansive studio collection.
We then use silver bezel wire to make the setting for the stone and solder it to a backplate. After filing and sanding the setting, we add a bail so it can go on a chain.
Next, everything is given a final cleanup and we set the stone.
If needed, we give a final polish and viola! You have a pendant that you made yourself from start to finish!
It is suitable for those with no metal smithing experience. If you already have some jewelry skills, this can be a new feather to add to your cap.

What’s included?
The class includes sterling and fine silver to make the pendant and a stone from the studio collection. Chain is not included, I have a limited supply that is available for purchase.
How long is it?
The class takes about 6 hours, plus a break. The group class on October 24th is from 11am-6pm with an hour lunch break. Private classes can be done as one longer day or broken up into 2× 3 hour sessions.
Can I bring my own stone?
Maybe. If you have a flat backed stone that is round or freeform with minimum dimensions of 5mm and max of 20mm it may be able to be used. It is best to send me a picture and I will let you know if it is possible. If it is a square, organic, or larger stone it is best to do it as a private class instead.
