Mapple Band
The bands in our Goss Collection are named for iconic 1980’s New York photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. Although much of his body of work is conventional, there was also controversy surrounding his homoerotic collections.
The mixed metal Mapple Band is a combination of sterling silver and 14k yellow gold with 3 deep blue/ teal sapphires cast in place in the gold.
Due to the nature of sandcasting, slight variations are to be expected and encouraged.
Approximate total weight 8 grams, the bands are ~4.5mm tall and ~2.5mm thick
